Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

A therapist who understands where you're coming from

Rebecca Zaccheo is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern offering telehealth therapy to individuals, couples, and families throughout Florida. She holds a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a focus in Psychology from Wayland Baptist University.

Services are provided under the supervision of Amanda Timonere.

Her clinical training spans a wide range of settings — from intensive outpatient programs and inpatient behavioral health services, to private practice and military community-coordinated care. This breadth gives her a grounded, adaptable approach that meets clients where they actually are, not where a textbook says they should be.

Rebecca has deep knowledge of military culture and the unique pressures that come with service. She understands deployment cycles, reintegration stress, and the quiet weight that service members and their families often carry without acknowledgment. Whether you're currently serving, recently separated, a veteran, a parent looking to support their child, or a family member trying to hold it all together — you'll find her to be a therapist who genuinely gets it.

Transparent, straightforward pricing

Steadfast Resolve is a self-pay practice. No insurance is accepted — this keeps your records private and removes prior authorization barriers between you and care.

$100
per 50-minute session

Couples Therapy

Relational work for partners. Initial intake sessions may run slightly longer.

Family Therapy

Tailored to the size and complexity of your family unit. Fee discussed at intake.

Good Faith Estimate: Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to a written estimate of expected costs before your first appointment. This will be provided at intake. Payment is collected at time of service. A sliding scale — meaning a reduced session fee based on your financial situation — is available upon request for clients who need therapy but cannot afford the standard rate. Reach out to discuss what works for you.

Common questions

Everything you need to know before getting started. Don't see yours? Reach out — no question is too small.

Telehealth therapy is conducted over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform — meaning you can attend sessions from your home, office, car, or anywhere private (within Florida). You'll need a device with a camera and microphone (phone, tablet, or computer) and a reliable internet connection. Sessions feel and flow the same as in-person therapy. After booking, you'll receive a secure link by email before each appointment.
No. Steadfast Resolve is a self-pay practice and does not accept insurance, including Tricare. This is intentional: it protects your privacy (no diagnosis is submitted to an insurer), eliminates prior authorization delays, and allows Rebecca to focus fully on your care rather than insurance constraints. Payment is collected at the time of service.
RMHC-I stands for Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern — a Florida licensure credential for clinicians who have completed their graduate training and are accumulating supervised clinical hours toward full licensure (LMHC). Rebecca holds an M.S. in Counseling and Psychology and is supervised by a licensed clinician as required by the Florida Board. This means her work is reviewed, accountable, and held to professional standards.
Yes — Rebecca works with active duty service members, veterans, reservists, and their families. However, Tricare is not accepted. Many military-connected clients prefer self-pay for privacy reasons: no diagnosis submitted means nothing on your military or VA record. Rebecca is deeply familiar with military culture and the specific concerns that come with service, including deployment stress, reintegration, and military family dynamics.
Evening and weekend appointments are available to accommodate working adults, service members, and busy families. Specific availability varies — reach out to confirm your preferred days and times. Appointment slots fill up, so reach out sooner rather than later to secure a time that works for you.
Yes. All sessions use HIPAA-compliant platforms and all records are maintained with strict confidentiality per Florida law and professional ethics. Because this is a self-pay practice, no information is shared with insurance companies. Limits of confidentiality (e.g., imminent safety concerns, mandatory reporting) will be clearly explained during your intake session.
Rebecca will dedicate time to review your comprehensive medical records and case files, then prepare an official nexus letter for you to submit with your appeal for a VA decision. This is approximately a three-hour service commitment. Reach out for current pricing and availability.
To receive telehealth therapy services through Steadfast Resolve, you must have a permanent home address in the state of Florida. This is a licensing requirement — Rebecca is credentialed to practice in Florida and can only provide services to clients who are Florida residents, regardless of where they may be physically located at the time of a session. If you are a military family or active-duty service member temporarily stationed or deployed outside of Florida, you may still be eligible as long as Florida remains your state of legal residence. If you're unsure whether you qualify, reach out and we'll be happy to help clarify.
